Radioactive Chaos. Bristol, 1977. Charley, Eddy and Andy. These fellows were ahead of me in school. Think of them as older brothers that introduced us to the Metal scene. The sound was messy and the curse words flowed. We worshipped them. I made them this shirt without being asked. So they let me come along to practice. When Andy's mother saw the shirt, she banned him from practice sessions. Wanted him to focus on good school and not the wrong crowd. Charley went all in. 3 more bands. Alcoholism. Armed robbery. Eddy tried to keep up with him but got held back by a pregnancy and a conscience. Andy got a suit and a law degree. Years later he told me he was happy. Who'd a thought?
